Since 2000, ArtTable has conducted an immersive diversity program that addresses the marked lack of diversity in arts employment through a number of internship placements at institutions across the country. The objective of the program is to provide quality experiences and mentorship for female graduate students from backgrounds generally underrepresented in the field to aid their transition from academic to professional careers. Through one-on-one mentoring relationships with ArtTable members, interns have the opportunity to work with an established leader in the field and gain exposure to a range of professional activities. Each intern receives a $3,000 stipend for an eight-week commitment. ArtTable welcomes donations in support of our Diversity Fellowship Program. To make a donation, please click here or call our office for sponsorship opportunities at 212-343-1735.
