Laurence Lafforgue
New York Chapter Programs Co-Chair

Laurence serves as Director for Otero-Pailos Studio, the art and experimental preservation practice of Columbia GSAPP Professor Jorge Otero-Pailos. She oversees special projects & exhibitions, institutional and gallery relations, communication strategies, and studio operations. She has a passion for fostering interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaborations to create transformative encounters with the arts. Throughout her time in previous positions, she has advised art and culture institutions on their marketing and communication strategies, and built web 2 platforms to amplify artists’ voices. A French native, she moved to New York to run digital marketing campaigns for media companies, most notably Ogilvy, where she deployed the award-winning “Campaign for Real Beauty” worldwide. She graduated with a master’s in business administration and new media management from Paris Dauphine University (France). Laurence is based in NY, and she serves as Co-Chair of the New York Chapter of ArtTable.
