Join ArtTable NY for an evening with Sharon Vatsky, as she shares (and demonstrates) participatory approaches for making deeper connections with works of art as discussed in her newly published book: Museum Gallery Activities: A Handbook.

For almost twenty years, Sharon Vatsky has been Director of School and Family Programs at New York’s Guggenheim Museum. She is also a long-term ArtTable member.

Sharon has conducted workshops for teachers and museum educators throughout the US and internationally and taught graduate level courses in Museum Education at City College of New York, Teacher’s College, Columbia University and New York University as well as undergraduate courses in drawing, painting, design and art history. Prior to joining the Guggenheim, Sharon was Curator of Education at the Queens Museum of New York. Join us for an evening of fun, learning, and surprises!

Attendees will be able to order the book at a 30% discounted rate! Light refreshments will be served.

Thank you to Sharon Vatsky for participating, Randy Rosen for organizing, and Joyce Pomeroy Schwartz for hosting.
