Join ArtTable for State of Art/ DC!

"State of Art/DC: A conversation" is a series of forums about the visual arts in the DC region. This new series, begun in 2015, aims to make new connections and generate new ideas among visual arts leaders, artists, administrators, and artreprenuers.

In State of Art4 speakers Kim Sajet (Director, National Portrait Gallery), DavidSuls (Director of Planning & Economic Development at Golden Triangle BID), Dorothy Kosinski (Director, Phillips Collection), and Alberto Fierro Garza (Executive Director, Mexican Cultural Institute) to name a few, will present their ideas in answer to the question "How are you engaging audiences and building bridges to the community?"

Each previous session featured 10-12 presenters who responded to the question: “What do you see in five years for the future of the visual arts in the DC region?”

Sessions are dived into two sections of approximately 40 minutes each with a networking and conversational break. The presentations are Pecha Kucha style—20 slides, 20 seconds each. Previous sessions have connected over 750 attendees with ideas and with each other and all sessions have been sold out.
