Join ArtTable members from around the country for our annual Armory Show networking brunch and an exclusive look at this year's fair.

This annual program provides a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet new and long-term members from all over the country while enjoying exclusive presentations on the production of New York's premier art fair.

This year's brunch will be catered by the iconic New York staple,
il Buco and feature presentations from a fantastic lineup of speakers:

Jen Mergel, curator of
Platform. Jen is an independent curator based in Boston, Massachusetts and from 2010-2017, she held the position of Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the MFA Boston. Mergel will develop ambitious artists projects for Platform, which debuted in 2017 as a section devoted to large-scale and site-specific artworks.

Gabe Ritter, curator of Focus section. Gabe is the Curator and Head of Contemporary Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. For The Armory Show, Ritter will oversee the fair’s Focus section, comprised of solo- and dual-artist presentations of new or rarely seen work by today’s most relevant and compelling artists.
Jane Stageberg
, ArtTable member, principal at
Bade Stageberg Cox Architecture and the architect behind the Armory showroom floor.

After brunch, we will walk over to the Armory's curated sections as a group and also hear from Karin Schneider, whose installation Situational Diagram is featured in Ritter's Focus section, as well as Begum Yasar, Senior Director at Levy Gorvy Gallery.

Karin Schneider is a Brazil-born and New York-based artist and filmmaker. In 1997, Schneider founded Union Gaucha Productions (UGP) with Nicolás Guagnini, an artist-run, experimental film company designed to carry out interdisciplinary collaborations with practitioners from different fields. From 2005 to 2008, she was a founding member of Orchard, a cooperatively organized exhibition and social space in New York's Lower East Side. In 2010, Schneider co-founded Cage, a space that facilitated new kinds of social interactions. Her most recent project is Situational Diagram, was first presented as a text at the Centre Culturel International de Cerisy, France, in 2015.

Registration includes brunch, program, and an early-access pass to the Armory Show for Saturday and the remainder of the fair. The pass also admits holders into the fair one hour before it opens to the public.
