“I am proud to have contributed to ArtTable’s remarkable 37-year legacy of supporting women at critical moments in their careers, honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to the field, and encouraging efforts to bring more diversity to the artworld workforce,” Ciniglio said in a statement. “While I look forward to my next chapter and new challenges, I will always be an admirer of the extraordinary women of ArtTable.”

Lowery Sims, ArtTable’s former president and Director emerita, commented on Ciniglio’s contribution. “Ada Ciniglio stepped in to direct the ArtTable office at a crucial moment in the organization’s history. Her first mandate was to actuate and realize a series of initiatives that had been conceived by the board to streamline communication with the members, insure that robust programming would continue to serve the needs and interests of members, and to foster the sense of a national community. Ada and her staff found the road to their realization. ArtTable owes her a huge debt of gratitude. We wish her all the best in the next chapter of her life.”

ArtTable Board President Whitney Rutter adds,“Ada has inspired so many of us in the field. I am especially impressed by her passion for the arts and for mentorship, as well as by her unique ability to develop important programs. I speak for all my colleagues on the Board when I say that we are are hugely grateful for the crucial contributions she made to ArtTable during her tenure.”

Ada's long and impressive career has included experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors- with positions at Chase Manhattan, The New School for Social Research, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Prior to joining ArtTable, Ada was a founder and for 12 years the Executive Director of High 5 Tickets to the Arts, creating an innovative program that introduced more than 100,000 students to the visual and performing arts. In 2007, she was recognized by the Arts and Business Council of Americans for the Arts as the recipient of their Encore Award for Arts Management Excellence.
