Jessica Brit Ingle\, founder and president of Texas Vignette\, will give introductory remarks\, followed by a highlights tour with Vicki Meek\, Juror of the 2022 edition. \n\n\n\nStick around after the tour for no-host drinks and networking at Meddlesome Moth (1621 Oak Lawn Ave\, just a quick drive from the venue)! \n\n\n\nAdmission: \n\n\n\nArtTable Members – $10Member Guests/Non-Members – $15\n\n\n\nYour ticket includes a VIP Pass to the fair. \n\n\n\nNot a member? Click here for directions from any location. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Speakers\nJessica Brit Ingle is a curator\, writer\, and art entrepreneur who has worked nearly fifteen years in various arenas throughout the Texas art scene\, including major museums\, galleries\, and private collections. She is the founder and President of Texas Vignette\, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting\, promoting\, and connecting women in the arts in Texas\, and owns Ingle Art Consultancy\, an art advising and collection management business. Ingle is also a PhD candidate in Aesthetic Studies at UTD currently working on a dissertation that surveys Texas women photographers\, with the goal of publishing her research as part of a four-book series. \nVicki Meek is a nationally recognized artist\, curator\, writer\, and arts advocate with over forty years of arts administrative experience\, to include twenty years as the Manager of the South Dallas Cultural Center. She has received a number of grants and honors to include an NEA Grant\, the Dallas Observer MasterMind Award\, Texas Black Filmmakers Mission Award\, Women of Visionary Influence Mentor Award\, Dallas Women’s Foundation Maura Award\, the African American Museum at Dallas A. Maceo Smith Award for Cultural Achievement and the 2021 Texas Artist of the Year from Art League of Houston. Meek is included in the permanent collections of the African American Museum in Dallas\, The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston\, Fort Wayne Museum of Art in Indiana\, Paul Quinn College in Dallas\, Serie Art Project in Austin and Norwalk Community College in Norwalk\, Connecticut\, and is represented by Talley Dunn Gallery in Dallas\, Texas. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nImage: Photo by Sheryl Lanzel\, Courtesy of Vignette Art Fair
