Raised up in the mountains of Western North Carolina\, you may have found a young Ambrose in the forest assembling fairy houses out of bark and moss. Through sewing\, painting\, collage and material experimentation\, making home for Spirit and the mystical to reside has become the grounding force in their work. Ambrose was transformed by Black Studies while at Yale College where they received their BA. To provide the safest and the best experience possible for exhibitors\, visitors and staff\, TEFAF organisers are doing everything they can to follow the current COVID-19 capacity rules and guidelines from the State\, the City of New York\, CDC and the Park Avenue Armory. All ticket holders above the age of 5 years old must be fully vaccinated. “Fully vaccinated” means that you received your final dose of an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine at least 14 days before your entrance date. At check-in\, ticket-holders will be required to show proof of full vaccination (the NEW YORK STATE EXCELSIOR PASS or a hard copy or photo of your vaccination card) and a government-issued photo ID (for ticket holders 18 years of age or older). In addition\, all guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a fully-vaccinated adult. Please do not come to the Armory if you have symptoms of COVID-19\, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 10 days\, or have been in close contact with someone infected with or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 10 days. In addition to the precautions taken above\, all patrons and staff are required to wear masks while inside the Armory (N95\, KN95 or KF94 masks are recommended). To provide outside ventilation and air filtration\, the Wade Thompson Drill Hall is equipped with large air handlers with MERV 8 and MERV 14 filters that exceeding the government standards for filtration. Nonetheless\, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. Those attending events at the Armory do so at their own risk. She brings a collaborative approach to her work in search and in working with her clients. She manages a diverse portfolio of executive searches and has placed leaders at the country’s most recognized organizations in higher education\, foundations and institutes\, and arts and cultural organizations\, including museums\, orchestras\, ballet companies\, and more. \nAnne most recently served as the chief development professional for the San Francisco Symphony\, where she played a senior management role\, working closely with the Board of Governors and leading the Symphony’s contributed revenue division. Previously she served as San José State University’s Associate Vice President of Development and Campaign Director\, leading the university through its first comprehensive campaign\, which exceeded its goal of $200 million by $9 million\, one full year in advance of the publicly-announced deadline. Prior to her work in the Bay Area she held fundraising positions at the University of Kansas and Boston University. \nShe holds a M.A. degree in Education from Boston University and a B.A. in French from the University of Kansas\, which included studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris.  \nSuzanne Julig\, Owner of Suzanne Julig Art Advisory\, is a fine art professional with more than three decades in the field. Over the past several years she has expanded her expertise to include Career Consulting to provide individuals with the tools to pursue and secure employment in the art world. Most recently\, Suzanne was a member of the senior management team at Christie’s Education\, serving as the Career Services Officer. Prior to that\, she was a Director at three New York galleries\, specializing in contemporary as well as American and European art of the 19th and 20th century\, before founding her Art Advisory business in 2008\, through which she provides expertise to collectors in the acquisition of art and management of collections. Suzanne has taught courses at NYU and Sotheby’s Institute of Art\, in addition to organizing exhibitions\, leading museum and gallery tours\, and lecturing to private groups on a variety of art-related topics.
