DESCRIPTION:9am PT/10am MT/11am CT/12pm ET\nPlease join us for a presentation from Adenrele Sonariwo\, founder of Rele Gallery. With two locations in Lagos\, Nigeria and Los Angeles\, California\, the gallery was founded to act as a critical interface between the African and international art worlds\, situating contemporary art and artists from Africa in broader\, international contexts. \nSonariwo will speak about the contemporary art scene in Nigeria\, being a woman in this business\, and her gallery’s emphasis on emerging women artists. \nAdenrele Sonariwo is an award-winning gallerist\, curator\, and founder of Rele Gallery and Rele Art Foundation. She has curated and overseen high-profile art exhibitions in Lagos\, Los Angeles\, New York\, and Venice\, challenging the boundaries of art and engaging in provocative subjects and techniques.
