DESCRIPTION:Cheryl Numark will host this gathering at her Washington DC home and discuss what it means to be a contemporary art advisor in 2023\, as well as alternative forms of artist representation outside of the traditional gallery setting. This will be an opportunity for both artists and collectors to consider the evolving dynamics of artist representation and glean valuable insight into the multi-faceted role of an art advisor/gallerist who has worked to build meaningful collections and support artists throughout her career. \n\n\n\nFor the health and safety of all guests\, please have an up to date COVID vaccine or wear a mask. Join today! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThank you to ArtTable’s DC Chapter for organizing this program. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCheryl Numark’s career in art took hold during her tenure as owner and curator for Numark Gallery (1995 – 2007)\, the premier gallery in Washington DC for many years. During this period Numark represented and exhibited dozens of artists that would find great success\, including Michal Rovner\, Tony Feher\, Peter Halley\, Tara Donovan\, Sharon Louden\, Terri Friedman\, Zwelethu Mthethwa\, Dan Steinhilber and many others. Shortly after closing her gallery\, Numark launched CNAA art advisory to work more closely with her clients to help them build meaningful collections. Throughout this time\, Cheryl maintained close contact with many of the artists she had once exhibited\, facilitating exciting commissions and acquisitions (most recently a painting by Sharon Louden at the National Gallery of Art\, 2023) and hosting curated exhibitions on Artsy / within her home of work by artists Sharon Louden\, Marylyn Dintenfass and Terri Friedman (forthcoming shows include Jorge Yazpik\, October 2023 and Diana Cooper\, Spring 2024). In addition to placing and exhibiting work at both fairs and her home\, Cheryl has exhibited work by artists at Art Miami\, 2022\, and located public and private commissions for artists\, for both residential and commercial uses. \n\n\n\nCheryl currently serves on the collector’s council at the Hirshhorn Museum and is a member of The Tower Project at the National Gallery of Art. For over a decade Numark was on the Board of Directors for Cultural DC\, supporting its mission to ‘Make Space for Art’ in the DC area.

SUMMARY:Tour of the National Museum of Women in the Arts with Ginny Treanor & Orin Zahra
DESCRIPTION:Come join us to tour the reopened National Museum of Women in the Arts! NMWA is the first museum in the world solely dedicated to championing women through the arts. NMWA undertook a top-to-bottom renovation from 2021 to 2023. The building’s first full renovation since 1987\, this restoration project honors the structure’s history while improving its interior spaces\, mechanical systems\, and exterior envelope. We are very fortunate to have a curator-led tour with Senior Curator Ginny Treanor\, and Associate Curator Orin Zahra! \n\n\n\nCurrent exhibitions include “The Sky’s the Limit\,” showcasing never-before-exhibited contemporary sculptures that dangle from the ceiling\, cascade down walls\, and extend far beyond their footprint on the gallery floor: recent acquisitions and never-before-exhibited works include Sonya Clark\, Beatriz Milhazes\, Cornelia Parker\, Mariah Robertson\, Shinique Smith\, and Joana Vasconcelos.  “Remix: The Collection\,” showcases familiar collection favorites as well as never-before-exhibited recent acquisitions:  Remix continues to reject outmoded and gender-based art hierarchies. \n\n\n\nRead Abigail Tracy’s recent article in Vanity Fair: “The National Museum of Women in the Arts Just Got a $68 Million Overhaul.“ \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPlease review NMWA visitor health\, safety\, and accessibility information before your visit! \n\n\n\nAdmission: \n\n\n\n\nArtTable Members – $10\n\n\n\nMember Guests – $20\n\n\n\n\nNot a member? Zahra earned her doctoral degree from Washington University in St. Louis in nineteenth-century French art\, with a secondary field in modern and contemporary South Asia. Recent writing credits include contributions to major survey texts Great Women Painters (2022)\, Latin American Artists (2023)\, and Vitamin Txt: Words in Contemporary Art (2024)\, published by Phaidon Press. At NMWA\, Zahra has focused on issues of gender\, race relations\, and cross-cultural exchanges in modern and contemporary art. Curated solo and group exhibitions including Hung Liu In Print (2018)\, Ambreen Butt: Mark My Words (2019)\, Live Dangerously (2019)\, Paper Routes—Women to Watch 2020 (2020)\, Hung Liu: Making History (2023)\, and the forthcoming New Worlds—Women to Watch 2024.  \n\n\n\n\n\nVirginia (Ginny) Treanor\, Ph.D. serves as Senior Curator\, National Museum of Women in the Arts Treanor is the Senior Curator at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) in Washington\, D.C. and holds a Ph.D. in seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish art\, which she earned at the University of Maryland. Treanor has held positions at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art\, among other institutions. During her time at NMWA\, Treanor has curated numerous contemporary exhibitions\, including four installments of NMWA’s Women to Watch exhibition series: Organic Matters (2015)\, Heavy Metal (2018)\, Paper Routes(2020)\, and New Worlds (2024).

Mullen\, Jr. Director & Chief Curator of High Line Art and Curator of the 59th International Art Exhibition at the Venice Biennale\, the exhibition marks the first public viewing of the Shah Garg Collection: a groundbreaking body of work by women collected by Komal Shah and Gaurav Garg. \n\n\n\nMaking Their Mark includes historic and contemporary artworks by Jennifer Bartlett\, Lynda Benglis\, Firelei Báez\, Cecily Brown\, Judy Chicago\, Sonia Gomes\, Sheila Hicks\, Jacqueline Humphries\, Mary Heilmann\, Charline von Heyl\, Joan Mitchell\, Julie Mehretu\, Elizabeth Murray\, Howardena Pindell\, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith\, Joan Semmel\, Joan Snyder\, Amy Sillman\, Mary Weatherford\, and Anicka Yi\, among many others.  \n\n\n\nMaking Their Mark introduces a broader audience to the mission of the Shah Garg Foundation\, located in the historic former home of DIA Chelsea at 548 West 22nd Street. DESCRIPTION:Join ArtTable for a curator-led tour of Pt I: El Dorado: Myths of Gold\, exploring the legend of El Dorado as a foundational myth of the Americas. Artists in the show include Olga de Amaral\, Denilson Baniwa\, Bruno Baptistelli\, Andrés Bedoya\, Wendy Cabrera Rubio\, Leda Catunda\, Chiriquí artist\, Coclé artists\, william cordova\, Juan Covelli\, Covens & Mortier\, Harmonia Rosales\, Tiago Sant’Ana\, Julia Santos Solomon\,  Moara Tupinambá\, Laura Vinci\, and Alberta Whittle. \n\n\n\nDuring the colonization of the Americas\, colonial fantasies of an Indigenous kingdom replete with gold and precious stones quickly permeated the European imagination\, galvanizing the invasion of the continent and serving as a justification for genocide as well as the destruction of ancestral territories and the environment. Born and raised in Buenos Aires\, she has lived in New York since 2011. She completed her M.A. at The Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and her undergraduate studies in art history at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Her research received grants from the Metropolitan Museum of Art\, the Terra and Andrew W. Mellon Foundations\, and the ICAA Peter C. Marzio Award from the Museum of Fine Arts\, Houston. Her writing has been presented at conferences internationally and published by prestigious museums and academic journals\, including the New Museum\, the Museum of Modern Art\, and the Guggenheim Museum. She curated exhibitions independently in museums and cultural centers and previously worked in the Modern and Contemporary Art Department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art\, the Institute for Studies on Latin American Art\, and Fundación Proa in Buenos Aires. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTie Jojima is an associate curator at Americas Society in New York and a PhD candidate in art history at the Graduate Center\, CUNY\, specializing in modern and contemporary Latin American art\, with a focus on Brazilian art. Her larger research interests encompass performance and media art in the 1970s and 1980s\, as well as contemporary Asian diasporic art practices in Latin America.

At Madison Square Park Conservancy\, she is responsible for the outdoor public sculpture program of commissioned work by contemporary artists including Diana AI-Hadid\, Tony Cragg\, Abigail DeVille\, Leonardo Drew\, Teresita Fernandez\, Maya Lin\, Josiah McElheny\, Martin Puryear\, Erwin Redl\, Arlene Shechet\, and Krzysztof Wodiczko. She is the founder of Public Art Consortium\, a national initiative of museum\, public art\, and sculpture park colleagues launched in 2017. Artist Elizabeth Turk speaks through one of our most permanent media\, marble\, to immerse us in a conversation about the fragility of handwritten language. Turk herself will guide the ArtTable group on a tour of Written in Stone\, with Hirschl & Adler Managing Director\, Elizabeth Feld. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nElegant and understated\, the beauty of calligraphic scripts has resonated across cultures and time. Elizabeth Turk: Written in Stone\, a group of twenty-three hand-carved marble sculptures made over the past decade\, marks the change caused by technological communication – the ubiquitous keyboard and AI – and seeks to question the transformation of everyday handwriting. What happens when the curved lines of a scripted passage no longer hold meaning\, or even exist? Or when the generations of tomorrow merely glance at a handwritten letter\, fail to understand it\, cannot decipher it\, and simply move on\, losing the nuances to history? Through this new body of work\, Elizabeth Turk conveys this fundamental shift with unmatched grace and technical dexterity.  There is an obvious paradox in a memorial of something as ephemeral and humancentric as script created with a solid\, seemingly permanent rock gilded with a mineral\, gold leaf. Through the use of electric grinders\, dental tools\, and files\, Turk pushes her medium to its limit\, creating in each sculpture a provocative tension between the intrinsic strength of the stone and its inherent fragility\, while speaking to larger conceptual and spiritual concerns of time\, matter\, and space. \n\n\n\nDuring the twenty-two years that Turk has been represented by Hirschl & Adler Modern\, the gallery has mounted five solo exhibitions of her work\, each accompanied by publications; as well as a solo Art Kabinett at Art Basel Miami Beach (2012)\, a solo presentation at Masterpiece London (2014)\, and a solo presentation at the ADAA Art Show in 2017.  \n\n\n\nTurk’s work resides in numerous prestigious private and public collections\, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art\, CA; the Jewish Museum\, New York\, NY; American University\, Washington\, D.C. DESCRIPTION:Canal Projects introduces “Lithium Sex Demons in the Factory\,” the inaugural New York solo show for Los Angeles artist Candice Lin. Our tour will be hosted by Artistic Director Summer Guthery. This project\, a collaborative effort between Canal Projects and the 14th Gwangju Biennale\, involves the recreation of a lithium battery factory as a site-specific installation. This endeavor seamlessly extends the artist’s persistent exploration of themes of globalization\, intricate trade networks\, the nature of materials\, and the dynamics of labor.Canal Projects is a nonprofit\, women-led contemporary art institution dedicated to supporting forward-thinking international artists at pivotal moments in their careers. Through production\, exhibition\, research and interpretation of this work they foster artistic practices that challenge and reflect the current moment. \n\n\n\nCandice Lin has gained recognition for her innovative use of diverse materials: from tea and cactus tinctures to fungi and deceased bats—accentuating their unique characteristics\, such as scents and flavors. Lin repurposes presentation techniques commonly linked with anthropology and natural history\, investigating their colonial narratives. Her work has been exhibited at Portikus\, Frankfurt (2018); Moderna Museet\, Stockholm (2017); Bétonsalon—Center for Art and Research\, Paris (2017); Human Resources\, Los Angeles (2017); New Museum\, New York (2017); SculptureCenter\, Long Island City\, New York (2017); Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (2016); and Vincent Price Art Museum\, Los Angeles (2013)\, among others. DESCRIPTION:Join ArtTable for an artist talk and exhibition tour with Chelsey Luster! Luster’s immersive solo exhibition “Finding Home” at Vox Populi Gallery tells the stories of their models’ safe spaces through mixed-media paintings\, text\, and film. Each model’s individual story informs the creation of these imaginative havens that come together to form a physical safe space. The exhibition acts as a place of healing for black and queer people and the respective communities. Luster highlights their identity and perspective through the luminescence of black skin with fluorescent undertones and the vibrance of queerness through shimmering overlays of glitter. Other materials\, such oil and acrylic paints\, fabric\, glue\, market on paper\, wood panels\, found objects\, and canvas\, come together to materialize these idyllic realms. \n“At the beginning of my practice\, I focused on self-portraiture and explored the lack of security and safety as a Queer Black woman through depictions of unsettling bathroom scenes in “The American Bathroom” series. This body of work critiqued our failed incarceration system and the unhinged violence I experienced along with others in my community through large-scale erie-colored oil paintings on wooden panels. I developed creative programming and community building with other Queer\, Women\, and Black-led organizations and community leaders through talks\, fellowships\, and residencies that allowed me to collaborate on performances and discussions on Black and Queerness with regards to self-autonomy\, community discussions\, and collage workshops that welcomed people of all artistic backgrounds to create work that explored identity. Through this work\, I shared the universal feeling of wanting to feel safe with individuals of all backgrounds. Through the relationships formed and stories I heard during the creation of “The American Bathroom” series\, I knew that our stories could not end with trauma and violence. I discovered that creating a sacred space within myself and others in my community leads to healing\, peace\, and safety. In her role\, Melissa manages art acquisitions for the hospital’s 30+ locations throughout the New York tri-state area\, working with art consultants\, galleries and stakeholders to furnish art for new construction and renovation projects\, while also curating special\, site-specific commissions. \n\n\n\nMelissa ensures that MSK’s art collection aligns with the hospital’s broader environmental design vision\, which is to provide positive patient\, staff and visitor experiences through creating moments of joy\, inspiration and engagement. MSK’s large-scale\, site-specific commissions “Long Island Tapestries” by artist Alexandra Kehayoglou and “New York Sculptures” by artist Kim Dickey were both recognized with the international CODA Award (Collaboration of Art + Design) in 2019 and 2020. Melissa previously worked at the Rockwell Group and was an editor at I.D. Magazine. She holds an B.A. in architecture from Columbia University and a Masters in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU’sTisch School of the Arts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHaving joined Cleveland Clinic in 2019\, Ellen Rudolph is Curator and Senior Director of the Art Collection. She leads the program in its mission to create meaningful interactions with contemporary art placed throughout the Enterprise. Rudolph oversaw the art installation at Cleveland Clinic London hospital and commissioned artists Jacolby Satterwhite\, Sandra Cinto and Eva LeWitt for site-specific projects in Cleveland and Florida. She also led a collaborative exhibition of work by Derrick Adams at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic\, Rudolph was Chief Curator at the Akron Art Museum\, where she staged ambitious exhibitions and drove notable acquisitions\, including works by Mickalene Thomas\, Nick Cave\, Yinka Shonibare and Jenny Holzer among others. Rudolph has served as Executive Director of the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage and also worked at Progressive Corporation and Sotheby’s New York. She has Art History degrees from Northwestern University (BA) and Case Western Reserve University (MA). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a trusted art advisor and strategist\, Jane Borthwick specializes in managing diverse and specialized collections. Jane advises families\, private collectors\, foundations\, and museums in creating strategies for initiating\, building\, or dispersing art collections. She has handled the marketing and sales plans for the estates of prominent artists. Jane has sold works by Amedeo Modigliani\, Pablo Picasso\, Joan Miró\, Alexander Calder\, Joan Mitchell\, Henry Moore\, Louise Bourgeois\, Fairfield Porter\, Louise Nevelson\, and Andy Warhol\, among other artists. Jane has been quoted in The New York Times\, Private Asset Management\, and Private Wealth Focus and speaks frequently on best practices in art collection management. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. Jane is a past Board President at ArtTable\, and recipient of the ArtTable 2020 Chapter Leadership Award. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCade Tompkins Projects focuses on advancing and exhibiting contemporary art\, featuring work by emerging artists as well as mid-career and established artists in various mediums including painting\, sculpture\, printmaking\, video\, drawing\, and installation. Clients range from major museums to new collectors as well as corporations\, hospitals\, and seasoned art connoisseurs. She is interested in finding art for clients at all levels of collecting.  \n\n\n\nCade Tompkins has been a contemporary art dealer for over 40 years. Her gallery opened in September 2009 and to date has featured over 50 exhibitions by represented artists. Tompkins graduated from the Appraisal Studies in Art program at the Rhode Island School of Design. Cade Tompkins Projects has exhibited gallery artists at Master Drawings New York 2018\, 2020\, and 2022; Art in an Airstream during the IFPDA Print Fair 2016; SPRING/BREAK Art Show (2016-2023); and the E/AB Fair (2006-2013) and the forthcoming IFPDA Fair 2024 in New York. Cade Tompkins is a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA); Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA); ArtTable\, the national professional organization advancing leadership of women in the visual arts; and a sustaining member of the Association of Print Scholars (APS). Gallery Services include Curation of Corporate and Private Collections\, Fine Art Appraisals\, Installation\, Placement and Framing Consultation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSusana Smith Bautista\, Ph.D.\, is the Associate Vice President and Chief Curator of the AltaMed Art Collection at AltaMed Health Services. She has been featured in biennials worldwide including Liverpool (2021)\, Athens (2021)\, São Paulo (2016)\, and Havana (2015). Her work is in the collections of institutions including 21c Museum and Foundation\, Louisville\, Kentucky; Art Gallery of Ontario\, Toronto; Los Angeles County Museum of Art\, Los Angeles\, CA; Museum of Art and Design\, New York; Nasher Museum\, Duke University\, Durham\, NC; the National Gallery of Jamaica\, Kingston; the Pérez Art Museum Miami; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Speed Art Museum\, Louisville\, Kentucky; Studio Museum in Harlem; the Virginia Museum of Fine Art; and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her service to NYBG extends over 10 years\, having previously worked as Director of Public Engagement & Library Exhibitions Curator\, Curator of Interpretive Content for Public Engagement\, and Interpretive Specialist. She has more than 15 years of experience creating exhibitions\, events\, and audience development programs for institutions including the Irish Arts Center and Tufts University Art Gallery. She will bring to her new role extensive experience in innovative\, visitor-centered exhibition and program development\, purposeful strategy and business planning\, and building talented\, motivated teams. \n\n\n\nHer strength in program planning and implementation is complemented by her involvement with the American Alliance of Museums as a Board Member & Program Co-Chair for the National Association for Museum Exhibition. In 2018\, she was awarded the Gold Davey Award for Best User Experience for the Georgia O’Keeffe Interactive Guide. Caragol has led the effort to increase the representation of Latino historical figures and artists at the museum\, adding over 170 portraits to the collection and ensuring that Latino contributions to American history and art are interwoven through the museum’s exhibitions and permanent collection. \n\n\n\nIn 2014\, she was the lead curator for “Portraiture Now: Staging the Self\,” which examined the forces that shape identity–from friendships\, to gender dynamics\, and histories of migration–through the work of contemporary Latino artists. In 2015\, she curated “One Life: Dolores Huerta\,” exploring Huerta’s role as co-architect of the farm workers movement with César Chávez. She co-curated “The Face of Battle: Americans at War\, 9/11 to Now” (2017) and “UnSeen: Our Past in a New Light\, Ken Gonzales-Day and Titus Kaphar” (2018).  \n\n\n\nPreviously\, Caragol was the curator of education at Museo de Arte de Ponce\, Puerto Rico\, where she organized the museum’s symposium on Pre-Raphaelite art and led a program of talks with contemporary Puerto Rican artists. She was the Museum of Modern Art’s Latin American bibliographer from 2004-2007\, and she worked as a postdoctoral researcher for Latin American Art in the United Kingdom: History\, Historiography\, Specificity\, 1960 to the Present\, an investigation led by the University of Essex (2007–2008). \n\n\n\nCaragol earned her PhD in art history from the City University of New York. Her dissertation “Boom and Dust: The Rise of Latin American and Latino Art in New York Exhibition Venues and Auction Houses\, 1970s–1980s\,” examined the incubating role of New York City’s alternative museums and art spaces and market during the “Latin American art boom” of the late 1980s. Her essay on Kehinde Wiley’s portrait of President Barack Obama was published in The Obama Portraits in February 2020 (Princeton University Press / National Portrait Gallery). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKate Clarke Lemay\, Historian\, joined the National Portrait Gallery in 2015. She is a Fulbright Scholar; a Presidential Counselor to the National WWII Museum; and the founding director of PORTAL\, the Portrait Gallery’s scholarly center. Lemay also served as the founding coordinating curator for the Smithsonian American Women’s History Initiative. In 2019\, Lemay curated “Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence” to usher in the centennial of the U.S. American women’s suffrage anniversary. She published its eponymous catalogue with Princeton University Press which was awarded the 2021 Smithsonian Secretary’s Prize for Excellence in Research and the 2020 Amelia Bloomer Book Award from the American Library Association. \n\n\n\nIn 2017\, Lemay’s first book Triumph of the Dead: American WWII Cemeteries\, Monuments and Diplomacy in France was awarded the Terra Foundation in American Art publication grant. In 2018\, she served as guest editor for The International Journal of Military History and Historiography. She has published essays on art and military history for the University of North Texas Press\, Oxford University Press\, The Strategy Bridge\, Zócalo Public Square\, Reviews in American History\, and the Marine Corps University Press. Lemay’s research has been supported by a Terra Foundation in American Art predoctoral fellowship at the Smithsonian American Art Museum\, a fellowship in American Modernism at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Research Center\, and a fellowship from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique at the Caen Mémorial Museum in France. Lemay served as the lead historian for the transformation of the museum’s landmark exhibition “America’s Presidents” (2017). Her other exhibitions include “Marlene Dietrich: Dressed for the Image” (2017). \n\n\n\nBefore joining the National Portrait Gallery\, Lemay was an assistant professor of art history at Auburn University Montgomery and visiting assistant professor of the history of modern and contemporary art at Brigham Young University. She earned a dual PhD in American art history and American studies from Indiana University (Bloomington).

In 1968-1971 she founded “The Photographer’s Gallery\,” the first gallery in New York City exhibiting photography as fine art. She was Director of Commissions at Pace Gallery in New York from 1972-1982\, implementing public sculpture projects with Pace artists. In 1982 Joyce founded “Works of Art for Public Spaces\, Ltd.”\, dedicated to working with American and International artists creating major works of Art for Architecture. She recently established the Harold and Joyce Pomeroy Schwartz “Archives of Public Art” at the Fales Special Collections/NYU Bobst Library\, of artists’ monographs\, photographs and papers available for public art historical research. It now includes the archives of the Public Art fund and Creative Time. She has been an independent curator and consultant for the Caribbean Cultural Center\, the Contemporary Arts Center\, Cincinnati\, Craft Contemporary\, Grounds for Sculpture\, the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Center for Art\, Design & Visual Culture\, University of Maryland\,Baltimore County. She was Visiting Professor at the Institute of Fine Arts\, New York University (2018-2020) and the 2021-22 Kress-Beinecke Professor at the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts at the National Gallery of Art\, Washington\, D.C. Her art is rooted in the dialectic coexistence of Eastern and Western cultures through the lens of natural phenomena. Her work is part of many public collections such as: Los Angeles County Museum of Art\, Los Angeles\, CA; Nassau County Museum of Art\, Roslyn Harbor\, NY; Corning Museum of Glass\, Corning\, NY; Detroit Institute of Arts\, Detroit\, MI; Luftmuseum\, Amberg\, Germany; Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art\, Scottsdale\, AZ; Santa Barbara Museum of Art\, Santa Barbara\, CA; The Museum of Art and History\, Lancaster\, CA\, as well as in numerous private collections. Solo exhibitions of her work have been presented at the Bolinas Museum\, Bolinas\, CA; the Asia Society Museum\, Houston\, TX; the Noguchi Museum\, New York\, NY; Savannah College Of Art and Design Museum\, Savannah\, GA; the Nassau County Museum\, Roslyn Harbor\, NY; and The American University Museum\, Washington DC. Ando was also commissioned to create artwork for the historic Philip Johnson Glass House\, New Canaan\, CT. Most recently\, Ando received the 2023 Brookfield Place New York Annual Arts Commission.
