DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a special members-only tour of the first-ever Independent 20th Century\, taking place at the historic Battery Maritime Building at Cipriani South Street in downtown Manhattan on September 8-11\, 2022\, coinciding with the fall art fair calendar. More than 30 international gallerists with museum-quality programs will be present at Independent 20th Century. It will be the second of two fairs to take place in the organization’s 13th year. Our tour will be led by Independent Founder and CEO\, Elizabeth Dee. \n\n\n\nIndependent 20th Century will focus on artists who made a significant contribution to art history between the years 1900 and 2000\, yet who were uncelebrated in their day. These artists are now being championed by a generation of gallerists who are reassessing the canon to make it more inclusive and representative of our times.  \n\n\n\nThis program is $15 and open to ArtTable members only. Join today! \n\n\n\nPlease review the below before registering:\n\n\n\n Health & Safety In partnership with the Javits Center\, a New York State-run facility\, The Armory Show will implement all applicable COVID-19 safety procedures recommended by the CDC and New York City health officials. The Javits Center staff is working closely with our clients\, government partners and industry stakeholders to ensure operations are as safe\, efficient and effective as possible. Thanks to the high vaccination rate statewide and in accordance with New York State and New York City guidelines\, proof of COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) is ONLY required for those working in the building\, including: Javits Center employees;Cultivated employees;Employees of vendors performing work for the Javits Center;Employees of our service partners and tenants such as FedEx and Fintech;Employees of General Contractors and Exhibit Appointed Contractors; andIndividuals visiting the Javits Center administrative office area.Face coverings are no longer required to enter the building. Our campus features sidewalk ramps and automatic doors at all street levels\, as well as accessible restrooms and elevators. The Javits Center offers mobility vehicles to assist visitors with navigating the convention center during events. These vehicles are provided on a first-come\, first-serve basis. In addition\, a limited number of manually operated wheelchairs are available at no fee by visiting the Concierge Desk in the Crystal Palace off 11th Avenue.
