Nora Gomez-Strauss
Assistant Director of Digital Content, Whitney Museum of American Art

Nora Gomez-Strauss is an arts administrator and freelance writer born, raised, and now raising a family in Queens, NY. She is currently the Assistant Director of Digital Content at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she leads the team working on digital content strategy and production. Nora oversees website content, exhibition videos and multimedia, digital programs, social media, and digital imaging. Previously, Nora was at Public Art Fund for eleven years in the role of Director of Digital Strategies, where she oversaw all digital components of the organization. In addition to working in communications at visual art nonprofits for over fifteen years, Nora also highlights women in the creative field through freelance writing. She has been featured in The Fold Mag and Good Company Magazine. Nora has been a member of ArtTable since 2013 and lives in her native borough with her husband and two children where they can be found going for long walks, looking at art, listening to records, and escaping to the beach. She and her husband both serve on the Queens Democratic County Committee and she is the recipient of a Hispanic and Latinx Leadership Award from the New York City Council.
