Join Dr. Lauren Davidson, curator and founder of Museum Nectar Art Consultancy, and artist Bria Edwards for a guided gallery tour of What We Do, We’ve Always Done, a compelling solo exhibition by Edwards at Julio Fine Arts Gallery, Loyola University Maryland. This tour offers an inside look at Edwards’ two-year exploration of Black horse rider culture in Maryland, brought to life through vivid oil paintings, documentary photography, and video. Together, we will examine how Edwards’ multidisciplinary practice captures the power, grace, and enduring joy of Black equestrians—honoring a living tradition shaped by resilience, heritage, and an unbreakable bond between rider and horse. |
