Alyssa Garland

Membership & Impact Initiatives Manager

Alyssa Garland (she/her/hers) grew up in Arizona and moved to New York City in 2015 for her undergraduate education. Since 2018, she has worked within 5 nonprofit theatre organizations and 2 nonprofit arts service organizations in a variety of positions to gain a holistic view of arts administration. She has worked in operations, development, marketing, communications, and membership roles. In all her positions, Alyssa has been committed to and actively working to make the arts more accessible to audiences and a more equitable place to work. She is looking forward to supporting the impact initiatives that give the best opportunities for growth to ArtTable’s vast membership. Alyssa is also a texture-based painter/artist who explores mental health, body dysmorphia, body positivity, and the challenges and beauty of being a woman in her work.

Alyssa holds an MA in Arts Administration from CUNY Baruch and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance and Business Administration from Fordham University at Lincoln Center.
