Angelica Semmelbauer

Angelica Semmelbauer graduated from the New York University’s graduate program of Visual Arts Administration in 2004, with a published graduate thesis focused on Russian Non-Conformist art. From 2005 to 2014, Angelica was Director of Mimi Ferzt Gallery in New York, which specialized in Russian Non-Conformist and Contemporary Art. During her tenure she organized important curatorial exhibitions of prominent artists from this movement, and successfully placed them in numerous important private and public art collections around the world, including the Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Modern Art, the Jewish Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In 2015 Angelica founded her private art advisory company, Ellipsis Art, where she helps private and corporate clients with advice and expertise on building and expanding their art collections. Through comprehensive art market research and long-standing relationships working with artists and galleries around the world, she is able to create a unique selection of artwork for clients in accordance with their specific needs, direction and taste.
