Vega Shah (she/her/hers) joins ArtTable as a former fellow with a background in nonprofit work and programming in the arts. Prior to joining the ArtTable team, Vega worked at The FLAG Art Foundation and Brooklyn Museum (where she completed her ArtTable Fellowship in the Decorative Arts and Design curatorial department), as well as various arts institutions in Austin, Texas, including Humanities Texas and The Harry Ransom Center.

Vega holds a Master of Arts in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from Bard Graduate Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art History from the University of Texas at Austin.
