This panel will examine what it means for museums to remain relevant and accessible while advancing scholarship, supporting artists, stewarding collections, and serving their communities. The conversation will also look ahead: What should the American art museum of the future look like, and how can institutions adapt to meet the needs of the next generation? |

Join ArtTable for a day trip to New Canaan Connecticut. Our day begins with a Executive Director & Curator-Led Tour of America Abroad: Art, Architecture, and Diplomacy at the Onera Foundation. Presented on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the United States and FAPE’s 40th year of operations, the exhibition offers rare public access to artworks typically seen only at US embassies—spaces not generally open to the public—and explores how art and architecture have shaped the United States’ diplomatic presence abroad from the Cold War to today. In the afternoon, we will visit The Glass House and Galleries for a two hour tour. The tour tour includes access to 5 structures – the Glass House, Brick House, Painting Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, and Da Monsta. |
